The Leading Spa Award is presented annually in several categories, including, for example, Best Spa, Overall Concept, Culinary Excellence and other outstanding achievements in the spa and wellness sector.

Nominations and voting take place via an online poll running from August to October. The results of the online poll are factored into the overall assessment and thus into the awarding of the prizes.

To make voting as simple and accessible as possible for guests and interested parties, a dedicated voting button is integrated into the hotel profile of each participating hotel. Visitors can use this to vote directly for their favourite hotel or spa.

In this way, the Leading Spa Award combines expert assessment with the opinions of guests and spa enthusiasts, creating a transparent and authentic basis for the award.

The award package includes the following services and is subject to a fee: The package comprises a handcrafted award (35 cm), a certificate and a diploma, and costs €950.
